-One-of-a-kind beautiful handwoven baskets from Africa. Made by the women of Shorobe, a village in North-West District of Botswana. It is located close to Okavango Delta. throughout northern Botswana, the sale of baskets is providing income to rural women to support their families. The weavers of Shorobe have learnt ways of using natural resources in a sustained fashion and each batch of baskets sold sponsors the purchase of a batch of seedlings of both palm and dye trees for the plantation (where these important trees are conserved) in the village. Originally, the baskets were made to store food and drink in all around the Africa.
